Equine
Equine is a modern sans-serif display typeface that is intended for use in logos and branding for horse-related businesses. This typeface contains elements that visually represent the beauty of a horse. Letterforms were inspired by the shapes that their tails make, thick strokes represent their strength, and thinner strokes emulate their elegance.
Equine comes as an uppercase font with some alternative letterforms.
I have grown up around horses and was inspired to create this font as an homage to my personal history and connection with the animal.
My family mostly breeds and sells Australian Heritage Stock Horses and I wanted to create a typeface that they could use as a part of their branding.
This font emulates the movement of a horse’s tail to create a font that is interesting and elegant.
